The aim of this petition is to demand that the U.K. Government publicly addresses the UFO/UAP phenomena in a public hearing. This subject is now publicly being acknowledged by multiple global governments. The UK is a member of "The Five Eyes (FVEY)" which also includes Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States. These countries are parties to the multilateral UKUSA Agreement, a treaty for joint cooperation in signals intelligence. It is apparent that if the United States is taking this subject seriously, then the U.K. government will be aware of a lot more information than it is prepared to disclose to the British public. On the 30th June 2021 Baroness Goldie stated in the House of Lords the following. "As I indicated earlier, we have no opinion on the existence of Extraterrestrial life and we no longer investigate reports of sightings of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. We have no plans to conduct our own report into UAP, because in over 50 years no such reporting has indicated the existence of any military threat to the U.K.". - source Hansard.

On July 26th 2023 the United States held a public hearing on the subject. Allegedly the US government conducted a “multi-decade” program which collected, and attempted to reverse-engineer, crashed UFOs, a former American intelligence official told a remarkable congressional hearing on Wednesday. David Grusch, who led analysis of unexplained anomalous phenomena (UAP) within a US Department of Defense agency until 2023, told the House oversight committee in Washington that “non-human” beings had been found, as the issue of alien life received its highest-profile airing to date. The hearing was prompted by claims from Grusch in June that the government was secretly harbouring alien spacecraft. On Wednesday, Grusch repeated some of those claims – although not all – under oath. “I was informed, in the course of my official duties, of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program, to which I was denied access,” Grusch told the committee.The hearing attracted intense global interest, and provided speculation and claims that the US is hiding evidence of alien life and technology – mixed with large doses of skepticism. Grusch filed a whistleblower complaint in 2022. He said that in his role in the government he had been charged with investigating what military, defense and other agencies knew about aliens and alien craft, but alleged he had been prevented from accessing secret government UFO programs. Speaking on Wednesday, Grusch said he has faced “very brutal” retaliation as a result of his allegations.“ It hurt me both professionally and personally,” Grusch said. Under questioning, Grusch confirmed that he had knowledge of “people who have been harmed or injured” in the course of government efforts to conceal UFO information. Asked by an oversight committee member if he had “feared for his life”, Grusch replied: “Yes definitely.” Grusch added: “I am hopeful that my actions will ultimately lead to a positive outcome of increased transparency.” Grusch’s allegation, aired in interviews with the Debrief and NewsNation, that the federal government was hiding this evidence of alien craft from Congress sparked a firestorm in June, prompting the Republican-led oversight committee to launch an immediate investigation. Since then, the intrigue around what evidence the government has, or doesn’t have, around UFOs has only intensified. Source Adam Gabbart of The Guardian Newspaper.

To date other countries around the globe have publicly announced their intentions to investigate and communicate their findings.

The Canadian government announced in February 2023 it would begin its own official investigation into UAPs ( Sky Canada Project). China has its own artificial military investigatory body - referring to them as "Unidentified Air Conditions". In June of 2022 Russia State News agency TASS reported the Russian Academy of Science was undertaking an investigation of historical UAP reports. New Zealand with the Royal New Zealand Air Force ( RNZAF ) did release a treasure trove of UAP reports in 2010. However none of the reports have been officially investigated by the NZ government, claiming it lacked the resources to do so. As for Australia, following the 2021 ODNI report, the Royal Australian Air Force ( RAAF ) announced that it would NOT undertake any similar investigations.

The UK "officially" spends no money on UAP investigations despite increased interest in the issue, the UK House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Committee said it has no existing or planned work on the issue. An MOD spokesperson said it had "ceased to investigate reports of UFO or UAP in 2009, and there is no change in that".

I myself, along with probably thousands more UK citizens would like the UK Government to release more information that they currently hold. I, like many others understand that certain details should probably be withheld due to details that could negatively impact our National Security commitments. However we need more transparency and admission of aspects of this subject that the Government must be privy to. If you agree, I urge you to sign this petition and ensure that the subject is reconsidered and discussed publicly by the Prime Minister, M.P.s and the MOD who are democratically elected and their salaries paid for by the UK taxpayers. 

We don't need disclosure, its already globally accepted that this phenomena exists. What we deserve is official confirmation.
