Include Postgraduate Students in UEA's 'Safety Net' Policy

The Issue

Currently, UEA have assured third year undergraduate students that their grade average will not fall due to the results of any assessments completed during the university's closure due to Covid-19 under a 'safety net' policy. UEA have excluded postgraduate students from this 'safety net' policy.

Many prestigious universities in the UK including the University of Nottingham, Kings College London, the University of Durham and the University of Exeter have decided to include postgraduate students in their safety net / no detriment policy. If these universities can do so, so can UEA.

By refusing to include postgraduates, UEA is putting them at a disadvantage compared to other students around the country. It's time for UEA to act and prove that it cares about its postgraduate students.
