Hi all,

With the fall quickly approaching, we want to provide you - our incredible supporters - with an update on the status of our movement.
 
In the past few weeks, we have continued to meet with MLAs, other leaders, and Albertans from across our province. Thanks to your efforts, we continue to gather signatories to our petition and educate others about the issues facing our sector.
 
Most recently, one of our representatives met with Danielle Smith, a candidate for leadership of the United Conservative Party of Alberta. With many of Danielle’s views on issues important to us unknown, meeting with her and taking the time to explain our challenges was critical. The conversation our representative had with her was an important step in that regard and the first we envision in a broader dialogue we hope to continue with her in the coming weeks and months.
