The Alberta Disability Workers In Action

Petition stats say Lethbridge area is now voicing this crisis! We are averaging 150 signatures a day, and we are now at 742 voices in the last 5 days!
Next week’s step to this petition is making contact with the news world, requesting a press release.
Decision makers are sensitive to media coverage, so getting our story about this petition is a great way to influence the Community and Social Services Minister Jason Luan, the Deputy Minister Cynthia Farmer, and the opposition Critic Marie Renaud.
All of the contacts made have been provincial. The more people affected by this issue voicing their concerns through letter written form, ADWA’s Forgotten But Essential campaign has legs to walk into helping everyone on-board.
All people employed in Community Disability Services, Self advocates, and Families/Guardians that have joined this petition will be heard.
Please send your letters to the contacts including your MLA.
