The Gilbertson's Excellence Scholarship was an award that gave a free Masters to students that got a first in their Undergraduate degree. This scheme was removed for the last academic year, and the student population was not informed of this. 

We are petitioning to hopefully get the Gilbertson's Excellence Scholarship back, but if this is not possible, we are petitioning to get something similar in place for those that came to UCLan for this Scholarship. We are also petitioning for UCLan to make students more aware of the changes that they make to Scholarships like this, as it can potentially change students' future plans in Higher Education.
