As many of you know, UberEats is a food delivery service. Unlike other food delivery services however, UberEats does not allow drivers to see the location in which they are picking up from, or dropping off to. 

As a young-ish female, who uses UberEats to supplement income, I feel that I stand with a lot of others in saying that it is not right that UberEats does not let us know the location of pick ups and delivers beforehand. In the past two weeks, two shootings in my area have occurred, the victims being deliver drivers (not directly related to UberEats) but this can happen to us too! UberEats so far has not made the effort to make any changes relating this ongoing issue. 

Sure, you have options.

-You can stare at the map and TRY to figure out the location of the pickup area in the short few seconds that they give you.

-You can choose to decline the trip and your acceptance rate goes down. 

-You can take the pickup but then the delivery goes to a shady area and if you cancel, you'll get charged for the food. 

None of this is right, UberEats needs to start caring more about the safety of their drivers!
