The problem that we need to solve is the Earn It Act. We need to keep this bill from being passed; lives will be in jeopardy if this happens.

The Earn It Act is a bill that is "supposedly" trying to keep others safe by destroying pornography, keeping children safe from sexual child abuse, etc. However, this is NOT the case. This bill is just another reason to censor the nation. LGBTQ+ content will be censored, anyone who is a sex worker will be censored and removed, and, on top of it, encryption WILL be deleted. 

Encryption is what keeps the government out of our emails, online messages, dating apps, websites, etc. How would you feel if you were messaging someone on snapchat, and the government just WATCHES you message whoever at any given time? That is an INVASION of our privacy AS A NATION. If the government watches every word we send, every retweet, every picture, etc., how will we then justify our privacy rights?

This bill will affect AMERICA as a whole. LGBTQ+ activists, content creators, celebrities - they will be censored like before, and it's important for younger generations know we exist. Sex workers, LEGAL sex workers, will be out of work, and not be able to provide for themselves if sex work is all they know. PRIVACY between one person and another, messaging wise, will be demolished. We CANNOT let our rights go. As a nation, we have freedom of speech - that includes expression.

So please, we cannot let this bill go into effect. Think about censorship, think about the thousands of children that will be sexually harmed and sexually exploited if this bill passes, think about our privacy rights. This bill provides NOTHING but harm and control.
