Our elected "officials" have clearly forgotten that they work for us.

It is time to remove the title of "Elected Official(s)" and put into common use the correct title of "Elected Employee". 

The high and mighty attitude of the political class needs to be deflated. This also pertains to political appointees. Being assigned a seat in DC doesn't to place you above and beyond regular citizens.
