Hi,

“Many people don’t know; they think women already have equal rights, but it’s not in the Constitution,” said Julianne Sheehan, one of The Yellow Roses.

The Yellow Roses started as a group of middle school students, too young to vote but too angry to accept that women’s rights are left up to “interpretation” instead of being “officially" spelled out in the U.S. Constitution. Now in high school, The Yellow Roses continue their ERA Now! campaign. Over 1,000 people have signed their online ERA petition. If you are one of the signees, THANK YOU.

The Yellow Roses continue on by joining up with other women's rights groups and leaders such as: the ERA Coalition; The Alice Paul Institute; the MA Attorney General; Gloria Steinem; MA Suffrage100; the Barbara Lee Family Foundation, the cast of "We Did it for You," Teen Vogue, Junior Scholastic magazine, Women's eNews, and more.

Please share this with others if you can.

Onward,

The Yellow Roses
