Brava!
Yesterday, representatives from Women's Rights organizations gathered at the Prudential Building in Boston to Flip the Switch to illuminate the top of the Prudential Building in the colors of Alice Paul and the Suffragists.
Yesterday and all of last night the 52 story high Prudential Building was a "silent sentinel" of purple lights, gold lights and white lights honoring and remembering those who came before us, the Suffragists and those who came before the Suffragists, who all struggled and sacrificed, who persevered and triumphantly won a woman's Constitutional right to vote in 1920.
Flipping the Switch to illuminate The Pru building in the colors of the Suffragists were a multigenerational group of women, with some as young as 14. Besides honoring the Suffragists, the youngest in attendance also issued a call to action to sign their ERA Now online petition.
Hopefully, the Top of the Pru will be lit in the colors of the ERA soon when the ERA ultimately, like Suffrage, will be passed and ratified and become the law of the land.

Representing The Yellow Roses were : Ilkim and Eleanor, who are both in their 3rd year of activism on behalf of the ERA. They began in Grade 7 and are in it for the long run.
Thank you Cathy and Fredie for making it possible for The Yellow Roses to be a part of the coalition.
Onward! and last night...UPWARD!
...and next...FORWARD to full Constitutional equality for women.
