Peter Bolos - a 44 year old Coptic Egyptian, African American Board Certified Physician. After graduating medical school, his first act as a Phyician was to build a free clinic at his church for families who couldn't afford medical care. Dr Bolos's heart of service to the community originated at a young age. He has always served his church and his community, and we are asking the community to now step in and save him!

During his high school years he began a children's camp at his Diocese which united all the children in the Southern US to learn about Christ. His heart of service did not stop there, he makes it an annual tradition to visit the Joshua House on Thanksgiving with his family and provide meals for the orphan children, he did this is while being wrongly persecuted by the US Government. 

Dr Bolos was wrongfully convicted and thrown in jail for a crime he did not commit.

Peter is a kind loving son, brother, husband, and father. He has been robbed of 5 years of his life, stripped of his medical license and estranged from his wife and his four children. Although everyone involved in the case was  from Tampa Bay the government insisted that the trial be tried in Greenville TN.

A cornerstone of our legal system asserts that “it is better than 10 guilty persons escape, than that one innocent suffers”… unless the innocent person is a less powerful person of color?

With no direct evidence against him at trial, the jury found him guilty. 

Peter is now he is being wrongfully imprisoned until further notice. I would like to make the injustice known to the world. #FreePeterBolos
