The Issue

Currently the Federal Tax system is quite arbitrary: why 10% at up to $9275? Why 15% from $9276 to $37650?

I have a plan that is not based in any way on arbitrary thresholds and exemptions which can be quite confusing and cause the most profitable businesses to profit more because of the competition not taking advantage of the same loopholes.

I have a plan that makes it more profitable to be a small business, which create more jobs, and are less prone to catastrophic collapse because of complex system dynamics (i.e. larger system take more energy and lose more value than smaller systems to the tenth degree!).

This tax must be instituted as a constitutional amendment so that companies and citizens about to start companies know that they can trust that they won't be oppressed by changes in the tax structure.

This plan replaces thousands of pages of convoluted laws.

Here it is:

Tax rate = arctangent(natural_log(earnings)/e^3.5)/π

"Federal taxes may only be calculated using the equations, with one equation per year, where y is tax and x is income in that year, the first equation with the first optional number must be used until all federal debts are repaid: y=x*Arctangent(natural_log(x)/Euler's_constant^{2.82870019165956, 2.9, 4.2955813411658, 4.46714719735,… in that linear direction on a number line})/π or y=x*(x^(1/{125, 126, 127, 128,… in that linear direction on a number line)-1)"

Tax = (earnings)*arctangent(natural_log(earnings)/e^3.5)/π

The result is:

A tax system where the maximum tax no one will pay, would be the unfair tax of 50%, which that function never reaches, just as a triangle cannot have two right angles.

This is much better as it is a slow increase in taxes on the highest earners, rather than sudden jolts, which will more than cover, by virtue of having no loopholes, it will more than cover for the lack of a 35% tax bracket on the highest earners.

This tax, at its lowest, with federal spending constant, and growth at zero, has a resulting revenue surplus of $3,712,812,479,734.77. Or about a $3.7 trillion surplus when all of the earnings within the calculation of gdp, the census, and the growth of our shadow banking sector are accounted for, as according to http://www.usdebtclock.org This is enough of a surplus to get rid of our $19 trillion of federal debt in less than five years!
