Countless dogs have been shot by police officers and none have been charged, due to the law stating that a officer can legally shoot a dog if they bark or even move. Many family’s have gone through losing a dog to a police officer feeling “threatened” by a dog, if this continues more family’s will have to suffer losing the things that cuddle them at night.
