How can you not help our animals when they need us to help them from people who hurt, abuse, kill them etc. They need all of us to unite and fight for them. The laws need to be changed in every state and the same through out. They need to be made where people will fear to hurt an animal. The law must be the same for all abusers no matter who they are or what kind of animal it is. Look at this case here: This man raped a dog and the dog had excessive internal injuries and had to be euthanized. This dog life was taken from her and she did not ask for that man to do what he did. He only gets 60 days in jail yes you read that right. Big deal he can not be around a dog for 15 years. He has already did the harm. Not only is he not being punished enough for his crime, but he might be ordered to undergo drug and alcohol treatment. Who is going to pay for that. Even if that was the excuse he gave, he knows right from wrong and should not be doing drugs or alcohol, specially if it makes him do that. This is so wrong. This poor dog went through pain and suffered then her life taken from her. All he gets is 60 days in jail. What kind of punishment is that. Our animals deserve protection and justice. Sign petition demanding stiffer punishment for all abusers as well as to get rid of kill shelters. Nothing against the employees who do their job, but there are way too many animals being abuse and/or killed and it has to be stopped. Please find it in your heart to help, sign and please share so more people will see this. Remember the more who see it the better chance in helping the animals.
