My heart breaks when Seniors, Children and Animals are mistreated, abused and/or KILLED. So much of this is in our society today. It all needs to be stopped. I will be the first to say that all criminals do not pay for their crime. There are some laws that are not strong enough to make it make a difference to someone who wants to break the law. They need to be changed. Our animals do not have any protection from these type of people. This poor dog was left outside tied up with no food or water and he ate part of his own leg to survive. He also has multiple infections so they can not do surgery on him as they don't think he would make it. He is half the weight he should be. This poor dog might not make it. Think about it, I know he had to be in severe pain gnawing at his leg. So all of the pain, starving, nothing to drink, being left alone and neglected and maybe losing his life, what are the criminals going to receive? I hope they don't just get a slap on the wrist like so many do. Will their punishment be enough to give this poor boy justice? Will they suffer like they made him do? Sign petition demanding stiffer punishment for all animal abusers as well as to get rid of kill shelters. Nothing against the workers who do their job but there are way too many animals being abuse and/or killed and it has to be stopped. We are their only hope. Without us they don't have a chance.
