Parents of an 8 year old is out walking her dog which is only 8 months when some man decides to shoot and kill the puppy. This man comes out on his second floor balcony and that is when he sees them. It was then he took a high powered pellet rifle, lined his shot up through his scope and took a shot at the puppy killing the puppy. An off duty officer witnessed this incident. He was arrested which is a felony charge. I do not feel that a felony charge is good enough when an animal has been abused and/or killed. He was out on bond which was only $2,500. This is why I have this petition demanding stiffer punishment to all abusers as well as to get rid of kill shelters. Too many animals are being abused and/or killed and it has to be stopped. Nothing against the employees who do their job but too many animals are being killed for space and sometimes cause of wrong doings by people who work there. Yes there are some crooked shelters out there. Animals that have been abused are put into shelters where they go on Death Row. I think Death Row should be for the criminals not the victims.
So I am asking you to please find it in your heart to help these animals. We are all they got without all of us they have nothing.
