People in North Carolina who abandon their pets should be arrested for animal abused and if they did not make it they should be charged with murder. When you own a pet, you have to take care of it and treat it like another living soul. If you have a pet you should love it enough to have them to the end of their life not when you want to shorten it. The law needs to be changed in all States and they must be the same and a lot stiffer than they are to help and protect our animals. They deserve to live their life just like we do. Sign petition demanding stiffer punishment for all abusers as well as to get rid of kill shelters.Nothing against the employees but there are way too many animals being abused and/or killed and it has to be stopped. We are their only hope without all of us they do not have a chance for protection or justice.
