This is nothing more than cruelty. All owners who left their pets behind left to die in the storm, should be charged with a crime. How many did not make it? How many would not had made it if not for rescues? This petition is for ALL ANIMALS not just one certain one or kind. The laws need to be changed to make people pay for abusing and/or killing. Our animals need protection and they deserve JUSTICE. They know exactly where these animals came from when they rescued them and they should come back after the owners. Too many people are getting away with treating animals anyway they want too. THEY HAVE FEELINGS. THEY BLEED. THEIR BLOOD IS RED JUST LIKE OURS. Sign petition demanding stiffer punishment for abusers as well as to get rid of kill shelters. Nothing against the employees who are doing their job, but too many animals are being abused and/or killed and it has to be stopped! We are their only hope.
