After contacting state officials regarding a proposal to change laws to be more strict in terms of charges and sentences for tougher laws against hit and run driver crimes, I am still awaiting a response due to Covid-19 I suspect as a delay in movement. I have, and will continue to reach out to particular Senators who are able to push my bill proposal. I am also seeking to have the CJ Law named with regard to the right of family over loved ones, when they pass away in a hospital setting. This process may be long, but it will be sure by the grace of God. My son's life, nor those of many who have died because a driver hit them and fled the scene,  shall not go in vain.
