LRADs (AKA long range acoustic devices) are being used/have been used/are likely going to be used at peaceful protests as a means of keeping the crowd under control. This is ridiculous—protestors with underlying health conditions can be FATALLY affected by these devices! There’s no defense against them. The human pain tolerance for sound is 130 decibels, and these devices fire up to 162 decibels. Many are crying out because this is INHUMANE! Is tear gassing and shooting rubber bullets at protestors not enough? There is no justification for the usage of these devices.

Symptoms can include: nausea, vertigo, anxiety and possibly PERMANANT hearing damage. It practically makes your skull shake (pulled from people who have experienced this horrific device’s power first hand).

We have to stop/prevent the police from using these!

AND IT HAS BEEN RULED AS EXCESSIVE POLICE FORCE BEFORE! LET’S MAKE THINGS SAFER FOR PROTESTORS OUT THERE FIGHTING FOR OUR RIGHTS!
