Ban the sale and trade of spider ball python snakes

Ban the sale and trade of spider ball python snakes
The Issue
All Spider ball pythons are born with moderate to severe neurological disorders. This includes a head wobble, an extreme lack of spatial awareness, corkscrewing, and lack of balance. These symptoms make it extremely difficult for these animals to have a good quality of life. Some can't eat because they end up biting themselves when food is right in front of them, some can't drink because they end up drowning themselves in their water dish. They will fall when they are climbing and sometimes they even try to bite non-organic matter.
When breeders create these ball pythons and are aware of these neurological impairment that make an animal's quality of life so bad, all they care about is money...
Why should we let them create animals that will suffer through life? Some breeders argue that just because they have neurological disorders, doesn't mean we shouldn't let them breed like they would in the wild. This is wrong. Morphs are mostly created by breeding in captivity. This impairment wouldn't exist in the wild. Others argue that the breeders should "police" themselves. But if they aren't making the collective decision to stop the profit people make off these poor impaired animals, nothing will change. That is why we need to take action.
