Dear Supporters,
On July 29, 2024, the FDA/DOJ responded to my lawsuit against the FDA for failing to establish a radiation control program for LED products. The FDA's position is that there is no evidence that LED products, such as LED headlights, need to be regulated. However, by law, the FDA is required to use reasoned decision making. By ignoring the 60,000+ signatures and thousands of comments on this petition, the FDA is not engaged in reasoned decision making.
In my response to the FDA, I will be including the reports of harm that have been submitted via the LED Incident Report on the Soft Lights Foundation website. You may describe an incident with LED car headlights, or LED flashing lights on police cars, or describe the impacts of LEDs on your astigmatism, or anything else you wish to say about the impacts of LED products on your life. (https://www.softlights.org/led-incident-submission/).
After you submit your comment, your personal information will be removed, and your city, state, country, any health condition, and comment will be submitted to the Court as part of the public record. These comments will demonstrate to the Court that the FDA is ignoring the evidence of harm and is failing to engage in reasoned decision making.
Sincerely,
Mark Baker
