Make Texas State University's Grading System Pass/Fail for Spring 2020

Make Texas State University's Grading System Pass/Fail for Spring 2020
The Issue
Other universities in Texas are switching to a pass/fail grading system such as Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and St. Edward's University during the COVID-19 crisis.
This pass/fail system allows students to pick the courses that they would like to be graded on a pass/fail basis. When switching a course to pass/fail you will receive the credit for the class but it will not affect your GPA.
Texas State University has yet to transition to this system. During this pandemic, those living in student housing have been forced to move out. We no longer have access to campus resources and it is a fact that there are students who do not have the resources available to easily switch into an online-only environment. This is unfair and is putting students at a disadvantage. Texas State has yet to do anything in regards to refunding our tuition due to lack of resources that are supposedly included in the cost of our tuition, so the least they could do is allow us to operate under a pass/fail system, choosing which courses we would like this system to affect.
