The aim of this petition is to garner community support and demonstrate the demand to get Transition Extreme Ltd to return to the original opening hours pre-COVD pandemic which were:

·         Monday - Friday 12:00-22:00 

·         Saturday - Sunday 10:00-20:00

It has been over three years since the covid pandemic at which point TX reduced the amount of staff and the opening hours to cope with the situation. Transition extreme is a top class indoor training facility that is rivalled by no other facility in the North. Therefore, with TX not being open on a Monday and Tuesday and later on weekends, you are reducing the number of hours that athletes are able to apply and perfect their crafts whether that be working on a dyno bouldering or pushing to go higher in the skatepark.

 The recent opening of the pump track as well as the Velohub bike shop and the ongoing construction of the outdoor coffee and skate plaza demonstrates the organisations ambition for growth which is not matched by the current commitment of opening hours.
