With over 7,225 signatures, more people have signed the petition than voted for last election's winning MLAs in Lunenburg (NDP Birdsall) and Lunenburg West (NDP Ramey) combined. As in the last election, I've made the sitting government accountable for a lack of action. No construction has begun, and this was our expectation and something they committed to. I have been very vocal prior to the election that we would make them accountable and target them as a result. Obviously, the NDP don't like me doing this. Their MLAs and supporters have been attacking my character as a response. They've been accusatory, and they've tried to paint me as "a liberal" or "a conservative." I am neither. I am a person standing up for those who cannot - the 70 people who have died on Highway 103, the thousands injured, and you. That is the party I stand for.
