Northern Arizona University is often overshadowed by University of Arizona, or Arizona State University. In order to change this, we should turn Flagstaff's very own NAU into Dollywood University.

This change would not only increase awareness of the school, but it also better represents the core values of the community. Northern Arizona doesn't tell you anything about what NAU is or what it believes in. Dollywood University better represents the values of the community and the demographic that attends it. NAU is a primarily Female school with a large presence of LGBTQ+ attendees. Dolly Parton is not only a Feminist icon who's been outspoken for LGBTQ+ and Women's rights, she also has an incredibly impressive history in her foundation's support for education.
