The Staff of Tumblr has a very bad habit of changing things without any notice to their users. Even worse, once these updates have been in place, users are stuck with them - no ifs, ands, or buts.

The latest update of Tumblr has suddenly made it increasingly hard to not only make a post in general, but use HTML while making said post; which proves a very big problem to the large roleplaying community of Tumblr, or anyone who uses even the simplest of HTML formatting. I have not seen one post about someone being happy with this update, which brings me to why I'm making this petition. 

Tumblr Staff, we're not asking for you to remove the update. All we ask is you give us an option to switch back to the old posting system should a user wish to. Other sites have implemented this feature when making large changes (along with months notice, but we'll talk about that later) and has proven to be successful.

Should you provide us with the simple option to switch back to the old posting system, you will be showing that you care about our opinion on these matters, and providing us with what we ask will put you back in the good graces of your users.
