Recently the city has lost 2 small children after they went thru a gap in the fence at Shoreline Apartments and drown in Mingo Creek. This may not have happened if the city will close the gaps in the fence and make it more secure for the residents of Tulsa. This was not the first time and will not be the last unless the city does something better to secure access to the Mingo Creek area. The creek was built by the city of Tulsa to help control flood prone areas so I believe it should be the city who secures its access points, specifically in neighborhoods where small children could wonder off into it easily. Help prevent another sensless tragedy from accruing like Miracle and Tony and please sign to get the attention of the city that this is a issue that needs to be fixed.
