Starting from 16th September 2022, a protest has begun in Iran in response to brutal death of Mahsa Amini. Islamic Republic regime in Iran did several crime after that. Killing Kids, Genocide of Balooch people, Genocide of Kurdish people, attacking its own people by using bomb in Shahcheragh, and etc. Moreover, the Islamic republic regime of Iran has shut down internet connections throughout the country in response to the protests. These blackouts have made it difficult for students to contact their families and access financial support. Moreover, due to the on-going strike in response to massive massacre in different parts of Iran, the total economic situation of the whole country is highly affected. This in turn, add the economic pressure in addition to the mental pressure on Iranian students, studying abroad. 

We, as the university of Calgary students believe that it will be tremendously helpful if all Iranian students would be eligible for tuition fee deadline extension. Furthermore, the University of Calgary could alleviate this financial pressure by providing hardship funds for those severely impacted.
