Don't Let the Feds Destroy Wyoming's Iconic Wild Horses

Wyoming promotes itself as a place where wild things still run free. But now the federal government is taking aim at the state’s most iconic wild animals -- its historic and cherished mustangs -- with a plan that will eradicate them from 2 million acres of habitat in the state.

The wild horses affected by the plan have long been a target of the powerful Rock Springs Grazing Association, whose members graze cattle and sheep on the public lands in the area and enjoy steep taxpayer subsidies for their operations. The plan elevates livestock industry special interests over the will of the American people, who overwhelmingly want wild horses protected on our public lands.

Join us in calling on the Trump Administration to reverse the plan to round up more than 3,000 wild horses -- over one-third of Wyoming’s remaining mustang population --  and eliminate 40% of their habitat in the State. Sign and share this petition!
