These young adults are treated like slaves and not human beings. They are discouraged to maintain contact with family and friends, and are often times taken as far away from what is familiar to them. They are provided with drugs and alcohol, and are usually addicted to them very quickly. If they ever get out of these crews, it's not always easy. Most have to escape. It's modern day slavery and its illegal.
