On Septemeber 17th, Translink unveiled the station names for the Broadway Subway Project. Local radio host Jason Manning feels that we should rally together and have Translink re-consider naming the new "Oak-VGH" Broadway Subway stop to "Oak-Hero Station".

The name change would honor the local front-line care workers who have worked tirelessly before, during, and after the pandemic . "Hero Station" would act as a constant reminder for the sacrifices health care , front-line and other essential workers make on a daily basis not only for Vancouverites but all people.
