We, the undersigned property owners of 2320 Lincoln Avenue, seek your support in transforming and restoring these long-neglected buildings.  As new owners, we are committed to revitalizing the property and enhancing our beloved city, Alameda, by creating a space that enriches the neighborhood and brings renewed energy to the community.

Background: 

The buildings at 2320 Lincoln Avenue have a rich history but have long been neglected, becoming unsafe and contributing to environmental decline.  For over a century, the gabled-roof structure has been an eyesore and a safety hazard.  As we move into 2025, we are dedicated to transforming this area into a thriving space while taking in consideration its original architectural character.

Proposed Plans: 

We propose transforming these properties into a mixed-use development that includes:

2320 Lincoln Avenue: A two-story building with a café or restaurant on the ground floor and two residential units on the second floor.

2322 Lincoln Avenue: A newly reconstructed two-story building will continue the legacy of Gim’s Chinese Kitchen.  The ground floor will house a dine-in restaurant, honoring Alameda’s Chinatown, while the second floor will feature residential units.
