In a recent facility inspection,  Massachusetts Department of  Public Health

found over 500 repeated violations inside Bridgewater State Hospital

inlcuding: 

Insects found inside food containers, scum buildup in the showers, severe water

leaks, toxic mold, moisture seeping through the walls, paint chips falling from

walls and ceilings, dirty sinks, toilets not working,  water shut off,  dirty wall vents, 

wet mops found on the floor, poor plumbing and electrical, poor sanitization, leaky

plumbing, clogged sinks, dirty grout and missing tiles.    

This is how the Massachusetts Department of Corrections treats  loved ones

suffering from serious mental illness inside Bridgewater State Hospital.
