Suicide is an epedemic in the Trans Lifeline. According to the National Transgender Discrimination Survey (NTDS), 41% of respondents reported attempting suicide compared to 1.6% of the general population (Grant et al., 2011). This alarming statistic underscores the urgent need for societal change.
