Since the 216 Street Highway interchange opened, vehicle and truck traffic has increased on 216 Street in North Langley.  Motor vehicles often exceed the posted 50 km/hr speed limit.  We are concerned about the safety of the elementary schoolchildren who must cross 216 Street to get to and from Topham Elementary school which is located on the corner of 91 Avenue and 216 Street.

Therefore, we the undersigned, petition the Township of Langley for a 30 km/hour posted speed limit on 216 Street for the Topham Elementary School zone.
