Stop the Destruction! Save Frozen Ridge Road in Newburgh New York

Stop the Destruction! Save Frozen Ridge Road in Newburgh New York
The Issue
During a Town of Newburgh Planning Board meeting on October 7, 2021, proposal 2021-25 was initially presented. The 64.5 acre lot is nestled in the middle of the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York is our beautiful Town of Newburgh. Set off of 9W, Frozen Ridge Road has some of the most beautiful views and amazing wildlife. Our area inhabits bobcat, bear, deer, otter, geese, ducks, and eagles just to name a few.
An area at 365 Frozen Ridge Rd. was purchased by a developer in December 2020 and they are now looking to subdivide the area to build 24 residential homes. This proposed plan invades our way of life and right to enjoy our beautiful area, but it also threatens the well-being of the surrounding wildlife.
Our goal is to work with the Town of Newburgh Planning and Zoning Boards to deny the developer to subdivide the land and build houses that will destroy our area.
To resist this development and force our wildlife out of their homes, we have started the Newburgh Neighbors Unite effort organized by families, friends and neighbors. You can read more about our cause and see pictures of our wildlife at
www.NewburghNeighborsUnite.com and www.SaveFrozenRidge.com
We ask all residents of the Town of Newburgh and surrounding area’s to help support and save our beautifully preserved land and say NO TO THE DESTRUCTION!
You can email us at NewburghNeighborsUnite@gmail.com to learn more or help fight the cause!
