Sign this petition to demand the Town of Leland and all elected officials restore the Christmas Festival to The Unity Group of North Brunswick, who has put on the annual Parade and Festival for the last 26 years.
The town DENIED the Unity Group’s permit because the group (unity group) wanted to change the parade back to the second Saturday of December and back to a day time parade. One thing about last year was that the town did not have adequate lighting that they were to provide for the parade and we were so blessed that no one got hit by a car or truck. The town decided that they were going to do a parade in conjunction with the tree lighting, only to find out that they ARE NOT having a parade as they had said. It is very sad that this wonderful event will not be happening this year.

Please sign the petition to demand the Town of Leland,  the Parks and Rec. Board, the Director of the Parks and Rec department and especially the Leland Town Council to renew the Unity group the full permits and support to continue with this almost three decade Leland tradition. Let your voice be heard! We are displeased at the town for denying the residents of the area an event that was enjoyed by “kids of all ages”.
