I started this petition after witnessing the many accidents on Woodbury Road. There have been 2 fatalities in just 1 year on Woodbury Road and countless other accidents in a 3 mile stretch where drivers reach speeds over 60mph, cross the double yellow line to pass motorists and drive recklessly. Even though the posted speed limit is 30mph, this is rarely abided by. Something needs to be done to slow traffic down. I believe that stop signs at different intersections of the road will slow traffic, but am requesting a road study so that this can be properly determined. 

The residents on Woodbury Road have tremendous difficulty going in and out of their driveways and have to worry about their lives as they leave their homes just because of the hazard of driving on Woodbury Road. My own mailbox was crashed through and my daughter's bus nearly got hit twice while being stopped to pick her up (we live on one of the curves in the road) because of speeding drivers. Due to this, even the bus company agreed to have the bus enter my driveway due to the danger. 

Something needs to be done and there shouldn't have to be any more blood shed on Woodbury Road. It is negligent not to address this very dangerous situation on this road.
