This tree does not have any part of slavery, hangings or anything political. This tree is not old enough to be apart of what is being said in another petition. It does not have any hanging marks. I was born and raised here and can tell you this tree is a part of what makes this city and this country beautiful. Feel free to come for me or other people but, leave this tree that has earned the right to be, alone. This tree does not have anything to do with any political beliefs. I'm saddened by all that's going on in this on this country, this tree has nothing to do with it.
