It has been brought to my attention that I have angered some of the powers that be for raising money to save the Stone House and have asked people to sign the petition. I also understand there are falsehoods circulating about me.

Just know that I'm doing the petition and the fund raising because I love Clifton Forge and it's history and I hope you do too. I love the Stone House. 

In my December 31st Bible study, the title of the lesson was "Believe In Your Vision". My vision is to see the Stone House restored. The lesson goes on to say that "Most great achievements begin as a vision in someone's heart. And many times people try to convince the person it can't be done - or that he or she can't do it."

It goes on to say that "If you can disregard your critics and rise above your fears, God will enable you to fulfill the vision." Also, "The vision is...for an appointed time...Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come." (Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV)

Through your comments on the petition and comments to me in person and via email, I know that this is not my vision to restore the Stone House, but it is YOUR vision because it is a part of our history.

Although people are dragging their feet and standing in the way of the restoration, we must persevere and do what we can to have the Stone House restored.
