Tory Lanez's Release and Justice No evidence

The Issue

Our effort revolves around the situation of the grammy nominated Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson best known as Tory Lanez, who we believe is currently facing an unjust situation.Tory found himself in the criminal justice system, a scenario that has sadly become an all too common narrative for young men in our society. We feel deeply that Tory did not deserve any of what happened to him. An increasing number of young men are finding themselves in similar positions - incarcerated and embroiled in legal battles with insufficient evidence for their convictions.

This petition is to show the justice system that so many of us do not believe he is guilty

According to the NAACP, as of 2021, African Americans are incarcerated more than 5 times the rate of white individuals, revealing a deeply rooted problem in our justice system. This statistics upholds our concern that many young men, like Tory, are receiving harsher sentences without solid evidence. This systemic flaw is not only putting individuals’ lives on halt but causing unjust harm to their families, communities, and fans.
It’s time we stand against this and fight for Tory Lanez and many others who are victims of such situations. We want to ensure Tory receives the justice he deserves and that evidence-based methodology is used in his legal investigations. We must create a wave big enough to reach the ears of decision-making bodies. Sign this petition to join us in advocating for Tory Lanez' release

Tory lanez DNA was not found on the gun that is in question so why hold him without any evidence justice for Tory lanez and all that are suffering since he was wrongfully convicted
