The UrbanHensTO pilot program runs from March 2018 to March  2022 and allows residents to have urban hens in 4 City wards. The pilot has shown no problems to date and keeping urban hens is one component of a City that values food justice, strong local food systems and circular economies. We call upon Toronto City Council to make the pilot project permanent and open it to all 25 wards and community growing spaces.
