We currently don't have anywhere people can go in this community that are in drug and alcohol phycosis or a rehabilitation facility for those that are seeking help to have a safe place to come off drugs and alcohol and ongoing support for them to adjust to their new lifestyle in the community. This petition is for people to respectfully express their concern about the lack of rehabilitation facilities for drug and alcohol addicts. We request that funding be put in place for the provision of a psychotic crisis centre for a rehabilitation and detox facility in Mount Gambier, South Austalia. Your petitioners therefore request that your Honourable House will call on the State Government to provide funding for rehabilitation facilities for drug and alcohol addicts in the Mount Gambier electorate.
