Good luck to the candidates standing in today’s local election. I sincerely hope that those who do get elected as our councillors here in Penarth both onto the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Penarth Town Council will be able to commit to opening up an urgent dialogue with local residents to get our publicly funded community cinema at the Pier Pavilion re-opened as soon as possible. We would hope that the new approach will be based on honesty, openness and inclusivity.
