Every year, the Wisconsin Department of Administration puts up a Christmas/Holiday tree in the Wisconsin State Capitol. This year, because of COVID-19, Governor Evers announced that no tree will be put up. Every year, students across the state send in ornaments for the tree, and this year they won't be able to, and ornaments already sent in, will not be used. This will cause students will feel like it was useless to send ornaments in.

If we have one thing that’s normal it’s this, so we need a Christmas Tree in the Capitol again this year. The Capitol isn’t completely shut down, and people are still there. Many Wisconsinites look forward to this tradition every year, and everywhere else is still putting one up, so why can’t we. We need to tell Gov. Evers that we need the tree this year.
