For too long people have been abusing animals, with the majority just getting away with a fine. What I strongly recommend is that we create and action a public animal abusers/offenders list. The animal offenders list should be used to prevent abusers from owning an animal of any kind, and will follow offenders for the rest of their lives. This would drastically reduce the amount of animal abuse that is committed in Australia. Repeat offenders should definitely be given some jail time. THIS HAS TO STOP!!

Animals are our companions and develop a love for us the same way children do, both without a voice to speak up. That is why we need to be their voice and speak up for them. There is nothing worse than harming someone or something that is completely defenceless. This affects us all, watching any form of animal cruelty should affect us all. If we get enough people supporting this petition we should be able to successfully create a public list.

If this petition isn't successful it means people will still be able to be cruel to animals with minimal consequences.

It's time to stop the abuse and take action. The animals need us and it's time to give your support.
