To Mark Harlan and the University of Utah Athletic Department,

It’s time to go to Nike, Under Armour must go. The athletic teams at the university all still have beautiful uniforms, even being with Under Armour. However, being an Under Armour school, we lack the iconic and sought after accessories that Nike has to offer to student athletes. Nike has far better looking accessories, including football equipment (cleats, gloves, balls, shoes, and team gear). Nike schools are glorified in the eyes of top recruits for the more popular sports (football and basketball). Being a Nike school can boost a schools athletic department and reputation dramatically. 
With the recent news of the University of California signing a Nike contract, the University of Utah is the last remaining Under Armour school in the Pac 12 conference. Utah, it’s time.
