Update, first of all we want to thank everyone for your support in our
mother’s case. It really means a lot to us to know that so many people
know how difficult it is to have a parent removed like our mother was.
Especially as a military family whose brother loves and fights for his
country.
As of today, it has been a little over a year since Rocio was removed
and as a family we have gone through so many difficult moments. Our
brother has not been able to see her physically since her deportation.
I understand that many of us are going through our own personal
difficulties being that 2020 has been a difficult year in general. But
having to constantly worry about her safety and her health has been
an added strain on top of all those difficulties on us as a family. We
worry about depression and COVID and many other things with her
health in general.
We know her to be a strong working woman yet she feels tied up and
unable to save herself - a side of her we have never seen. However,
she is also the most optimistic person we know, and when she heard
the new administration promised some hope of immigration reform,
she put all her hopes in that.
Because of that, those of us who love her, are working hard to find an
avenue to have her back in her home again.* Therefore, we would like
to renew interest in her case and the only way we can see that
happen is if we have more people see and know her case and give
their support by signing this petition!
Please we ask that you continue to share this petition and tell your
friends and family to sign and share also. Her children will continue to
advocate for her because she taught us to fight for what we believe is
right and for those we love. Thank you so much for your precious time.
