Hello everyone, I thought I would post another quick update. I have had meetings with two different police units who have mentioned assisting BUT that we need more neighbors reporting and more neighborhood involvement. I have to be honest with you.....its difficult to remain hopeful that neighbors will be more vigilant and get involved yet even do something as simple as file a report when people are still posting theft videos on Ring, Nextdoor and Facebook and not reporting to police. I have also reached out to all the local HOAs with the typical responses of -- they need to send to board, blah, blah...same boring management tone. So, that said I encourage all neighbors to overwhelm your Homeowners Associations with emails stressing the importance of their involvement with local police and that you are ashamed to know that they have not shared the levels of crime here with you even after I sent them over 25 videos (3 weeks ago). Thats 3 weeks of neighbors not knowing about several crimes while your HOA knew. Imagine that, even after the HOA's know of all the crime videos, sharing that and creating that awareness with the community is caught-up in a bureaucratic bottleneck.
